Bullockys Rest
Bullockys Rest is a small picnic area on the New England Highway, Picnic facilities, electric BBQ, toilets, historical site, walking tracks, wildlife.

There is a picnic area next to the waterbird habitat, and is a great place for bird watching (look around the trees and see if you can spot the nesting boxes that have been placed here).
Applegum Walk is a track linking Bulockys Rest with Hartmann Park 1.5 km away.
The waterbird habitat is created by two low weirs in Crows Nest Creek.
Two shelters and a toilet block have been built by the local Lions Club. Funding from the Heritage Community Branch enabled the installation of a flagpole and lighting.
The picnic area is dominated by Eucalyptus and a large Angophora, reputed to be the tree with the crows nest, after which the town was named. See the story of Bulockys Rest
