The Lions Club is the oldest service club in the area, being chartered in July 1974.The club has members mainly from the Crows Nest town area, as well as from Hampton.
  .

Lions LogoThe Lions Club members meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month, usually at the Grand Old Crow Hotel at 6.30pm with the meeting being called to order at 7.00pm.

The Lions Club is a charitable and community service organisation raising money not only for the local region but also state, national and internationally. Money is raised mainly by running monthly Lions Markets in the main town park, as well as from various other catering functions.

Monies raised have gone towards establishing the Bullockys Rest area in town, supplying newspapers and gifts for the aged care complexes, building wheelchair ramps, plus cash donations to various local organisations and Lions International projects such as Sight First 2 and  the Lions Drug Awareness Foundation. Recently, donations have been made to the China and Burma disasters.

Looking ahead, the Crows Nest Lions will be focusing on youth, with participation in the Miss Personality Quest, Lions Youth of the Year, and Fire Poster Competitions at the local schools.
