Bullocky's Rest
Bullocky's Rest is a small picnic area on the New England Highway Crows Nest, next to the Police Station.

birdwatchingThere is a picnic area next to the waterbird habitat, and is a great place for bird watching (look around the trees and see if you can spot the nesting boxes that have been placed here).

Applegum Walk is a track linking Bullocky's Rest with Hartmann Park 1.5 km away.

Bullocky's Rest consists of two low weirs which were created to provide a water bird habitat

Two shelters and a toilet block have been built by the local Lions Club. Funding from the Heritage Community Branch enabled the installation of a flagpole and lighting.

The picnic area is dominated by Eucalyptus and a large Angophora, reputed to be the tree with the crows nest, after which the town was named. See the story of Bullocky's Rest
