There are 3 trails, with a brief description of the habitat, how to get there (with GPS readings) and the name of a few of the birds you might find there.

Walks, Water and Fragrqnce

Gardens and Nurseries.

Crows Nest Shire has an abundance of nurseries and specialist garden centres, trailing along the picturesque New England Highway.

Horse and bike trails.

Bicentennial National Trail; Fitch's Feats.

National Parks.

Ravensbourne National Park, Crows Nest National park (Falls section), Geham National park, Hampton National Park.



Parks and reserves.

Peacehaven; Charles and Motee Rogers Bushland Reserve; Bullockys Rest; Hartmann Park, Peacehaven Botanic Park, Davidson Arboretum.

The Three Lakes.

Lakes Cooby, Cressbrook and Perseverance are ideal locations for water sport activities, camping, fishing and boating. For those who wish to keep their feete dry, there are picnic area, walking tracks and birding locations.

Soft 4WD Trails.

These trails are on public roads, mostly gravel or formed earth. Some are in poor condition. A high clearance vehicle or 4WD is recommended.

Walks.
